Is a Rousseau 2700XL Saw Stand with outfeed worth $275.00??

Just like the title says, is a Rousseau 2700XL Saw Stand with outfeed worth $275.00? I have a friend of a frend who is trying to sell me his but I don’t understand why he would offer it so cheap? Is there a cheaper alternative, perhaps a DIY solution I’m unaware of? Is the Rousseau even worth buying? My saw alone was $300.00 it’s just crazy to think a table is almost the cost of the saw.

My policy is that I never buy used for more than 50% of new. Second, the item itself doesn’t look like its worth $150. Couldn’t you build one? That would be more fun! -- Jim Maher, Illinois

Check out the stand for the Miter saw as well…. Good stuff….. Better yet made in USA…. -- What we do in life will Echo through Eternity........
