I’m going back to school and need to sell some tools I don’t use.

1. Medium Quick release vise from Lee Valley. 9in jaw width, 13 opening, brand new never used never in stalled, still in original box. SOLD-SHIPPED 8/13/12

2. Lee Valley Veritas twin screw vise, this is the larger one capable of up to 24in between the screws. This is brand new in the box, never installed. New price is $239, I’d like $175 obo, buyer pays shipping. I don’t have a pic but I can get one if anyone wants to see.

3. Lee Valley Veritas 5 1/4 bench plane with A2 blade. Used very little. SOLD PENDING FUNDS.

4. Lie Nielsen 8ppi Cross cut panel saw. used very little. SOLD, SHIPPED 8/10/12.

5. Senco PC1010, 1 gallon tank, 1 horsepower air compressor. I used this compressor very little with an air powered engraving tool in my house. It’s in good shape and is a little quieter than other larger compressors. I think I paid $140 for it new and I’d like to get $75 or best offer. Buyer pays shipping. I can get photos if anyone is interested.

6. Lee Valley Veritas Side rabbet plane. Used very little if at all, still in original box. SOLD, SHIPPED 8/10/12.

7. Lee Valley Bevel Edge Chisels, 7 pc set in wood box. 1/4 to 1 1/2 width. 1/2, 3/4, 1 have been used the most but all are in good shape. . SOLD, SHIPPED 8/10/12

Thanks For looking at my stuff. Almost forgot, Paypal is preferred, but money orders are OK too, Thanks.

John

Yep, I’ll get a pick of it, but it might take a day or so, because I don’t have a reliable internet connection yet, I’m using the WiFi at McDonalds right now!

So what do you have still for sale?

I’ve still got the veritas twin screw vise, and the senco air compressor for sale. Also, I found a DMT diamond stone , that I hardly use, so that is for sale too. I’ll post some pics of it later this evening.

Hey, I’m in for the Veritas vise. I’m pretty new here, and pretty new to woodworking, but I’ve been working on putting together a workbench, and that vise is the one I’ve had my eye on. Unfortunately, I can’t PM until I have 5 posts, so I’m not sure how to proceed.

Ok. This is post #5. Problem solved I guess. I owe you guys content. I promise I’ll post pics of the workbench when I’m done. It’ll be my first ‘real’ project. Let’s hope. The M&T joints have been much, much harder than I thought. And I’ve only started the base.

ayryq, The diamond stone is the 8 inch size stone, which is approx 2 5/8” by 8.” The stone is 600x on one side and 1200x on the other (what DMT calls 600 and 1200 is not quite the same as what other manufacturers of other abrasives use). Think of this as a Fine and Extra Fine stone, which if you’re one of those people like me who sharpens your tools often, and only needs to touch up or maintain an edge, this stone works great. If you’re one of those people who beats their tools until the edge is completely missing, then you’re going to need something coarser, for rough shaping. Also, I have the plastic stand for it too. I bought both items from Lee Valley, maybe 3 years ago, still in great shape, lots of life left in it (it’s diamond after all). The two items were about $100 new. I’d like to get $60, and I’d pay the shipping if you’re interested.
