I am going to buy a 3.0hp PCS within the next week or so as an upgrade from my Craftsman. Right now I am using a Freud Diablo 40t combination blade. Is the blade that comes with the sawstop ok? My bonus wasn’t quite as much as I thought it was going to be, so I am going to have to wait for either the mobile base or an aftermarket blade. Anyone have experience with the blade that came with their PCS?

The blade is likely OK but it`s unlikely it`ll be a great blade – they`d lose money doing that !

It’s not a horrible blade. I used it for a while until I got some other Forrest/Freuds. Actually when I bought my PCS they had a free 2 blade promo going, and those blades (gold colored) are better than the OEM. But honestly, OEM isn’t a bad blade. You’ll be fine.

How’s $18 plus s/h sound for a good US made full kerf general purpose blade that’ll give your a WWII a run for the money? The Delta 35-7657 is being clearanced by Cripe Distribution for less than a nice lunch, but does a surprisingly good job.

For the price of these saws you would think they would have better blades.

I found the stock blade with the saw to be above average.
