There’s a listing for one near me for sale and I don’t know if they are any good. It’s a 12 1/2” planer. He’s looking to get around $250 or so. Is a decent machine?

I looked at that one on CL. As you know, we are in the same neck of the woods. I liked it, if I was in the market for a planer. I’m saving my pennies (lots of them) for a Grizzly 12” jointer/planer combo with spiral cutter head. It will save me a lot of space in my very cramped one car garage (ok, no cars in there, just tools ! )

If it’s the Belsaw moulder/planer, in good condition, and especially if it has any bits or heads with it, it’s a great price

Oh yes. Better than a decent machine.

I love mine. If the rollers are worn out, you can replace them for under 100$ I believe. They are workhorses.
