Sylvain has asked that I bring to your attention the fact that he is unable to start a new forum post. This is what he said on the Workbench Smackdown thread. ”31 days ago I tried to start a forum. For an unknow reason it didn’t work. Please would someone look into why this is the case and let Sylvain know directly. Many thanks, Andy -- Andy -- Old Chinese proverb say: If you think something can't be done, don't interrupt man who is doing it. |

Sylvain’s issue is an irregularity I think, since the user has I’m not sure of what the settings are currently for the This is not uncommon with forums. It prevents spammers |

When I joined which was fairly recently, I made a forum post which went thru approval before being actually posted to the site. After that it said that I could start new threads, post comments, etc. at will. Unfortunately, I can’t think of any direct advice regarding Sylvain’s problem, wish you and him the best of luck. -- Ben from IL |

Andy, I have to add that the forum I tried to post 31 days ago has disapeared in the cyberspace and I would have to write it completely again. Presently i am still blocked. Now that I think of it, I wonder how the text of a disapeared forum can be reviewed and approved? -- Sylvain, Brussels, Belgium, Europe - The more I learn, the more there is to learn |

Just piggy backing on here because I am experiencing similar issues. I have tried to post two topics now. One was on some lumber I ordered recently and the condition it was in and just now I am trying to post one on problems I am having centering my router’s sub base. Any help alerting the admin’s would be greatly appreciated! |

I have a similar problem. I’ve been getting “You cannot post a new topic until your first post has been reviewed and approved.” for about 9 months now. Since there is no way to report the problem when you can’t post…. -- Rick -- I never let my lack of talent get in the way of my creativity. |
