A new table for my $100.00 HF 14" band saw

What didja use for the top surface?
Kinda strange that no BS topscome with the X,Y axis miter slots anymore. My old Magna had ‘em.

What did you use for the top surface?.
I work for a large pharmaceutical company which trows all kind of stuff away. I check the dumpsters quite often.
I found this piece of hard plastic material that I used for the table.
I have no idea what materiel it exactly is.
It just looks right for the application.

Actually I’m slowy but surely weeding my shop from any HF and Ryobi power tools, I think HF is better then Ryobi anyway still have some items but as long as they are still kicking they get to stay. :) So far what I have left is the DC and a 4” belt sander on HF, a planer biscuit and 1/4” hand router on the Ryobi side, heck it’s getting to where you can’t even find replacement parts for the Ryobi.

You really have a very nice table for that band saw! How many days did you work for it?

I took me just about one day to make the table
