Just wondering if others have ordered one of these and are waiting for the fence and rails. I ordered (and paid for) this saw on July 6th. The place I ordered it from says that the saw is in stock, but that the fence and rails are still on their way.

Hmmm???

I’ve emailed SawStop, but no reply as of yet.

Thanks, Gramps.

I ordered mine through Canadian Woodworker back in June and it was just dropped off a few weeks ago. I originally order mine with the 36” fence which I would assume there is less of a demand for and it was still the last thing to come in. I remember when ordering the guys mentioning the back log on the 52” fences though so I’m not surprised that you’re still waiting.

Well, if it’s any consolation I can say that when you do have it delivered they’re a snap to get up and running. The packaging is well labelled so with all the bolts and parts separated into their own little compartments for each step of the assembly process but the best part was that when I went to check my blade alignment everything was dead on right out of the box which really surprised me. It saved me from doing a bunch of time consuming and tedious adjustments which was very much appreciated after waiting for my saw for so long. Really the only things I had to align/level were the extension wings and the fence which was pretty quick work. All and all it only took me a few hours to get up and running from the time I cracked the box open.

Thanks Calgaryguy. My saw is supposed to be delivered tomorrow morning. I feel like a little kid again on Christmas Eve. :)
