Since I am blocked by this guy I figure I respond on a new thread. Here in Mexico we have a saying “Don’t be sweating other people’s fever.”
First, what is wrong with asking for help? Have you stopped to think the desperation and helplessness some might feel that they recur to LJ for help?
In the justice system it is thought that better 10 guilty people go free than one not guilty go to jail. It sort of applies here too, doesn’t it? So what if a few people abuse the help, if we can help a few then it is worth it. Two perfect examples are A1Jim and Neil. Both asked for help, both got it, and it seems to a favorable resolution. These two members are valuable contributors and I for one not mind their plea for help here.
In the end this is like the off topic forum, no one is asking you to participate or provide help, you don’t like it then move on and mind your own business.
