I’ve had my Triton 3 1/4 HP Router for about 2 1/2 years. I use it solely table mounted and most of the time it’s loaded with CMT’s Tenoning Router that works great for whipping out tenons. Unfortunately the router lift crank gear wore out… I contacted Avail Distribution (who must be handling service for Triton). I realized that the router was out of warranty and was hoping just to get a decently priced replacement part. In a short time I received an email from a Mr. Stacy Peterson who encouraged me to call him to discuss. He referred me to an on-line video that showed how to disassemble the router and I forwarded him a picture of the nylon gear to make sure I got the right part. Within a few days I received a new steel gear to replace the origional nylon gear. NO CHARGE!! All is great, I can go back to abusing the router cranking out the twelve cabinet doors I’m working on… GREAT SERVICE!! AWESOME ROUTER!!

I’ve had the same experience with the same router in the table. And on top of that, the router is a beast. It takes anything, doesn’t slow down. I have a nice little bosch for hand held but have loved this beefy triton in the table. The built in lift, autolocking chuck, and safety switch are nice too.
