Topic tags/keywords: cherry maple walnut planer spiral cutterhead

This post is for why I should get a spiral cutterhead for my ridgidR4330 planer or a Brand new industrial planer with a shear type industrial planer, which both should have carbide insert spiral cutterheads.
So for my project: Click for details
I have had to use rough HARD MAPLE and had to plane it down.
After dimensioning it and planing it down equally with Walnut and also planing some cherry, I decided to plane a rough cherry edge.
Now, I have blunt planer knives.
DAMNIT
Although I hope it paid off ;-)
Next time its handplanes for me
Feel free to put a reply of why you should get something or something.

I need to get motivation. Does anyone know where motivation is available?

You had a stumpy COLD ONE?
Seriously, do not use the table saw after drinking beer.
And p.s, I don’t drink. I’m too young.
