I have found a Union plane at a community garage sale over the week end. Pictures are here

I was wondering If someone could shed some light on the rarity and value.

I’ve got the Murlands Antique Tool Value Guide for 2007, 2008. It list the 5AX at $80-$100. To put that in real world $$s it list a Stanley type 4 #5 at $30-$75.

So its a little more valuable than the typical Stanley #5, but don’t quit your day job.
