I can’t find any videos or instructions regarding the replacement of the conveyor belt on my Jet 16-32. I have gone through the manual and searched Youtube but can’t find anything. Anyone out there replace this belt in the past?

Yellowtruck75, unless Jet changed the manual, there is a refernce to changing the conveyor belt in the manual. I have the Performax manual, and it has instructions for changing the conveyor belt on Page 16. It is the first thing in the section “Servicing your Performax (now Jet) 16-32” :

”To replace conveyor belt, raise drum to highest position. Unplug machine from wall outlet and unplug motor cord from control box receptacle. Adjust conveyor take-up screw nuts (12) to relieve belt tension. Remove four bolts (10) attaching conveyor assembly to base (9) LIft up and slide conveyor out to the sied of the machine. Set conveyor on motorside and slide conveyor belt off the end of the conveyor. Reverse process for installation.”

Note all parenthetical reference numbers refer to Figure 1 in the very beginning of the book. This figure shows where all the bolts and nuts are. You should be able to find them ok.

I had to replace mine a few years ago because the tracking shifted and caused some tears in the belt. Be careful to set and maintain the tracking.

I just checked on line, and Jet did change the manual from the Performax manual, but the instructions for changing the conveyor belt are at the end of page 16 and continued on page 17. Basically the same as was listed for the Performax version, but with pictures right next to the instructions.

Hope this helps.
