It’s the ol’ self-storing leaf design. Extreme dimensions of the top are 35.5×48.

When the leaf is folded and tucked away, the width is 21.5.

There is no simple evidence of legs ever being there (ignore the hardware screw-on plates. They’re gone.)

Was it a boxy pedestal with diagonal feet out the corners?

Was it a box clear to the floor with something like bun feet?

Your input gladly received! I’m baffled!

it appears to be two legs
from the marks by the dowel holes
with a top spreader too
to allow the wings to slide in over
