In all the posts on this site about drill press tables, I can’t remember seeing one that addresses height adjustment issues for the medium and smaller presses that have no vertical rack and pinion. I’ve tried to live by adjusting the table height by lifting and dropping, and it’s getting old. I’m interested in ideas to solve this problem with minimal expense and maximum convenience. I happen to have a Delta radial drill press on a stand. The table clamps to the 30” post. when you put a strong woodworking table on it, the table assembly gets very heavy. -- Dan Krager, Olney IL http://www.kragerwoodworking.weebly.com |
