My college roommate and I came up a neat idea in 2006. Since then, we’ve been sitting on it, dreaming about it, and not doing anything with it. Last summer, I’d had enough—”dude, we have to quit our jobs.” “WHAT?! Why?” “It’s been 5 years, and we realistically put in maybe, what, 5 weekends a year? What’s going to change that we’ll actually finish this site?”

So we quit or high-paying jobs—I was an electrical engineer, he was a software consultant. Eight months later, here’s what we came up with:

It helps you find things to do when you’ve got some free time. Once you make an account, you can share lists of things to do with your friends. If you like it, PLEASE tell your friends to check it out, and encourage them to do the same. On the other hand, if you don’t like it, PLEASE let ME know why not! You can either PM me on here, or you can click the “feedback” link at the top right of the site.

I’ve spammed all my friends, but it’s hard to plant seeds outside your own networks, you know? Thanks a lot everyone!

good luck. My problem is I need just the opposite. I need to find some free time to do the things I know I want to do.

+1 to what Don W said. Who’s got time? I know exactly what I ‘want’ to do. If I somehow get the time, the only other obstacle is depression.

Serious questions: 1) What social need inspired you to build this site? 2) Did you see a lot of folks with time on their hands that couldn’t figure out what to do with it?
