Got a decent deal on my first power planer

Went to Sears looking to pick up a 12.5” benchtop planer (had about $250 to spend before the wife would start getting irritated that I was having all the fun…$500 for a tool? Why can’t I buy a purse??) and saw they had the floor model of the Craftsman Professional 13” planer on clearance.

With the optional $40 coverage, they’ll replace the blades for free for the next three years…
