Topic tags/keywords: yankee doodle dandy forth of july july 4th happy birthday america

One of the things that I always like to do on my birthday, usually in the morning, is watch and listen to James Cagney singing Yankee Doodle Dandy. I don’t know what it’s really called but this ones for you fine folks so Happy Birthday, America and God Bless. I hope you all have a safe and happy fourth.

James Cagney? Doesn’t he sing with Metalica?

Happy birthday, as well as a happy 4th of July. Have a cold one with us, we have earned it, or at least I will
have earned it by the time I finish tearing that back deck apart today.

Happy birthday Charles and happy Fourth of July to you and all the LJ members! Cagney did a great job in that movie.

That’s a real good one, Joe. It’s one of my favorites actually.

Say, Joe, me and you’s getting on up there. Here's the one where Cagney dances down the stairs. I suppose if me and you’d try somethin’ like that we’d probably break every bone in our body. ;-| I once studied that one in slow motion. Quite amazing, actually. Joe, let’s make a pact on this – we won’t get a wild notion to try this one any time soon.

David, no. Actually, I’m working on nine boxes in my shop today. It’s 95 degrees here, but for the past 4 days it’s been upwards of 100 degrees. This is also my vacation this week. I’ve been working on these boxes. I guess I live a pretty dull life. Have a good one.

Everybody have a good one, as a matter of fact. Be safe and everyone count their blessings. I’m here with my loved ones. It’s a wonderful day to spend with our loved ones and to celebrate our country’s birthday. One of my birthday’s greatest wishes is for peace among all the nations and peoples of the world. Life is too precious to spend it fighting each other.
