The only xacto knife Stanley ever made. Get it before someone else realizes what they have. ;)

It even has a safety knob.

And it has the much sought after safety knob. I bid $300.00, and got free shipping if I’m not outbid.

I dunno. It looks to me like it could stand a sharpening.

On a related note, I’m going to be listing some of these cool bottle stoppers soon. Bid early!

I’m interested in this xacto knife but unfortunatley I can’t bid as they don’t post to the UK.

Very dissapointed as i’ve never seen one listed in the UK.

Love the bottle stoppers Charlie. If you post to the UK i’ll have a dozen :)

Looks like it’s actually been sharpened, and there’s not much ‘blade’ left before it’s all used up!

I could only imagine the amount of trouble I would get myself into if my T bevels were sharp…

Smitty_Cabinetshop,
You are right. It does look like it’s sharpened. Maybe that’s why they need to sell it – before it becomes two separate blades.

Now someone ruined the fun and told her about the mistake. It would have been better if they told her that it is a collapsible miniature ice pick used while climbing.

Mosquito it has a safety knob so no worries. The sad thing is is that it doesnt look to be in bad condition. Katdadd it os indeed a bevel gauge but the seller listed it as an exacto knife. They may be selling it because it wont cut anything. Or they cant find replacement blades at lowes

Any more sharpening.. and you get 2 blades.
Also, that blade is pretty useless, as it already has a few nicks in, and you’ll only get a few uses out of it until you get 2 blades, right now… It would be perfect if someone had ALL of stanleys tools… from the first of this
to the last of this and that and this and that

Katdaddy,

I was not referring to your post. I was referring to the person on eBay who told of the mistake.

That is a bevel gauge!

X-acto is a trademark for another company … Stanley never made an X-acto knife!

Oops we were poking fun without knowing the whole story. My fault.
