i am ripping 3” or thicker sapele, and my table saw(15 amp craftsman) is not happy.any ideas ? are there any mini resaws on the market?

WoodJack is correct. Try raising the saw blade about 1/3 of the height of the wood. Make one pass then flip the piece end to end- keeping the same side against the rip fence. Make another pass. Raise the blade far enough to
cut the piece completely through and make a final pass. If the saw still struggles, reduce the blade height and make more passes

I would use a rip blade instead of a combination blade to make this type of cut. The rip blade “cleans” the kerf faster than other types of blades and this reduces the strain on the saw.
