I’m reading a CL add that says a Delta TS with a 30” T-fence. There’s no photo.

Is there such a thing as a T-fence or is everything the famous T2 fence?

If there is a “regular” T-fence, how can I verify if it is a T-fence or if it is indeed a T2 fence when I see it?

Thanks for the help. I like my cast iron craftsman but BOY OH BOY IS THE CRAFTSMAN FENCE AWFUL!

Hi Eric,

I would suggest that you look at this site for a picture of the Delta T-2 fence: http://www.tools-plus.com/delta-36-t30.html and perhaps copy the photo. I don’t know that I have ever heard of any Delta T fence except the T-2. A lot of folks seem to like them as after market improvements to their table saws. I hope it works out for you.

I’d postulate that if it has rectangular mounting tubes it is a T@. If it has round tubes it’s not.
