Hi Folks, I need some Christmas gift ideas. I have done, pens, bottle stoppers, cutting boards, toaster tongs.
The gift giving season isn’t all that far away and I want to get stuff made up early this year. Problem is I lack ideas on what else to make.

What other items would you make as christmas gifts? I am thinking about some boxes…But not sure yet

I made these salad forks to give as gifts this year. They are easy to make on the bandsaw and scroll saw.

How about segmented ornaments or two-piece ornaments with reflectors inside?

I had good luck with the ratcheting candle stand that I used for XMAS gifts a while ago.

I did trivets last year, maybe napkin holders this yr. Maybe table centerpiece/candle holder. I have done boxes, picture frames cutting boards, I think kitchen items are pretty popular.

I have made about 30 boxes over the past two or three months. They are various sizes and different types of wood and are the mitered corner type with the exposed miter keys. This experience has allowed me to set up accurately all of the jigs that I need to make this type of box. I’m in the process of making nine more right now and they make really nice gifts. They also have small lift out trays under the lids. These are lift lid boxes primarily because I can’t afford any decent brass hinges right now and I’m not going to go to the trouble of making a nice box and then use cheap brass plated hinges on it.
