Hello All, I am new to LumberJocks, I look forward to being a part of this great crew. I have a Delata 36-477 Platinum Edition Table saw, followed all of the instructions to align the blade to the miter slot, and nothing worked. I called Delta, and after a few people, I was asked to try loosening the tie bar nuts because they may build up tension over time. I removed the 2 back tie bar nuts (easiest to access), let the tie bars sit overnight, re-assembled, and was able to align the blade with no issues! So, if you can’t align the blade, try loosening the tie bars, it may solve a huge headache!

You got some pictures of your saw?
Is it a contractor saw?
The cradle should be bolted on to the table top from the bottom.
the holes where the bolt goe thru on the cradle should has a bit of wiggle room.
All of them would need to lossen just enough, when tapped with a rubber mallet, it would move sllightly.
I would tighten them back up for the check. It ia a bit of trial and error.
Wourldn’t it be great if it is just it lock down and a adjusment bolt?
