All,

I just purchased a used Kreg router table. I feel that I got a really good deal ($180.00 for the table, plate, fence, featherboards and wheels). I just ordered a new plate for my Hitachi M12v2 (waiting for a good table to put this in). I wanted to find a way to deaden the noise and was wondering if anyone out there has “cabinetized” this router table, or if you have it as is, with the router out and exposed.

I look forward to any feedback you provide.

Thanks,

Dwain

I looked at buying a Kreg table but found it too expensive…so I built my own. How do you like the Kreg?

I was going to do the same thing, but I don’t believe I could have built one for as cheap as i bought this. That being said, I very much miss the undertable dust collection and would like to do something about that. I also like the idea of having drawers with bits so they are all in one place. Norm’s router table really looks nice. Still, after reading Pat Warner’s opinions about a router table, I the open table may be the way to go. I will probably build one later, who knows. I like what I have, for the price. What were you thinking on your router table? How were you going to build it?
