Hello everyone! I’m in the process of restoring a Makita 2030 planer/jointer and there are some parts that I just can’t find.. the tensioner arm is my primary focus (Makita part number 163112-1) at the moment. Looking for this part or a donor machine that I can scavenge parts from. I’m in North Central Florida and am willing to drive a few hundred miles if needed. Thanks!

Plenty of views, but that seems like a unique machine. I looked it up and it does look awesome.

In my own planer frustration, I just checked out a 10” combo jointer planer by jet at woodcraft.com. $499.

Some brutal reviews, however. This would be a perfect solution for my very limited space. If it could perform.

Your makita seems like a great option too. Just those pesky discontinued parts.
