glennl home | projects | blog 24 posts in 527 days 508 days ago	Topic tags/keywords: question bubinga i’ve got a couple a small piece of 1/2” thick bubinga, and was interested in opinions of another wood to mix it with, and a finish that you would use. The project in mind is a small box for my wife (about 4” w x 6”L). I’m thinking of using the bubinga as an accent wood (however, more then just splines for example). What do you think? Everything i’ve ever made with bubinga i’ve finished with a custom tung oil blend i mix myself. it finishes great, some of the smoothest and according to my daughter the “touchiest” wood i’ve ever worked with. -- Joey, Magee, Ms http://woodnwaresms.com
