Hi all,

Tommy in Japan here. I purchased the Bosch GTS 3100 (as it could be shipped here no problem) and added a Rockler variable speed controller to prevent the hard starts. I also added a couple of Frued blades for variety. One thing I would like to do is upgrade the miter guage as the one included is a little flimsy. Any suggestions??

Thank you!

Tommy

I’m ordering the Osborne tonight. The reason I like it is the sliding arm. The single-point pivot on most other mitre gauges did not seem appealing to me. I like the triangle of the Osborne which gives it strength.

It will be dead on right out of the box. If there is ever a problem with it contact Dave Osborne and he will make it right. He is also a member here

Thanks all. I ordered the Osborne and it is on the way! It was actually on sale for $109 as well so I had to jump on it. Even the awful ones I find in Japan start are more expensive.

I will keep everyone posted.

Tommy, where are you ordering your gauge from? I’d like that 109 dollar price as well.
