Looking to slab a maple log, any one know of someone in Dallas Tx area, looked on craigslist and tried googling one, but the closest one I found is over an hour and a half away.

The only person in Texas that I know with a dedicated slabber is Brandon Berdoll outside of Austin.

There is a guy out of Kemp that posted something on LJ about a year ago. You might search the site and see if you can find it.

He emailed me off line but I can’t find it any more!

Found the email. I will PM you with his email.

He had posted on Craigslist, not LJ.

My neighbor has a sawmill. San Saba may be farther than you want to drive.

There is a sawyer in Argyle. They advertise on CL. Is this the one you are referring to as being an hour and a half away? What diameter is the log?
