I am trying to find wood to match this desk but do not know what this is. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Might be cherry but it could be a lot of things. If you
can find something paler with the same type of porosity
and general grain appearance, a good finisher can make
the woods match without too much trouble.

Better pics are a must. But it could be birch.

It could be anything, I’ll go out on a limb and say it is not MDF.

I would guess that it is thick, long and wide wood, oh and probably heavy too!!

It’s definitely hard to tell from that far away and the fact that it looks stained doesn’t help either.

Have your say...
