I have the following saws
Rockwell Unisaw for $350 I am not sure what fence

R4511 with INCRA TS-LS Joinery System – 32” & 810mm Range fence for $700

and a NIB TS3650 for $200

Depending on how the Unisaw checks out and how much refurbishing is needed the R4511 may be a better buy but I would like the opinion of others, I know I should be considered crazy not going after the Unisaw at $350.

All 3 could be good saws, and decent deals. $700 is quite a bit for a used Ridgid hybrid, but it’s a really slick setup and has cabinet mounted trunnions. $200 for a 3650 is a nice deal with little to no downside if it works like it’s supposed….you can recoup your money with no problem at that price. The Uni could be worth $350 too depending on the motor that’s in it, and which fence….looks to be in nice shape too. If it’s 3 phase, it’ll need an expensive converter or a new motor. If it’s 2hp or more, it should be run on 220v.

The Uni has the most potential to be a bonafide workhorse for the rest of your life, but the other two are plug and play, and will also do good work once aligned and fitted with a good blade. Which saw do you like best?

The Unisaw is a real pile of crap. Trust me on this as we run a Unisaw in our cabinet shop and so I have experience with the trash TS. U should play it safe with the 4511.

Just send me a PM and give me the Unisaw seller’s info so I can do the respectable thing and contact that seller in order arrange for him to remove his ad for sale.

Where’s the Unisaw at? I’ll buy it so you won’t be forced to make a decision.

They all seem like good deals. But more info on the uni would help. Do you have 220 power? If you need electrical work, phase converter, and a new fence it could get spendy. I see no risk on the 3650. You could use it for a couple of yrs and still sell it for more than you paid. I have one and it has served me well.

The Uni was sold this morning :( it was a single phase 220V with a Beismeyer fence 3HP motor.
I am bumbed this one got away, I have my eye on another one but it has been kept outside for several years so we’ll see what condition it is in tomorrow.
The Uni I am looking at tomorrow is another 3HP 220V with a Beismeyer fence it is one of the white or cream colored cabinets.

The R4511 and the 3650 are still on the list if I cannot get a good deal on the Uni

@ Jerry & dhazelton…. too funny

What is included with the Incra? If that deal includes the router, router extension table and lift maybe the Wonder Fence, a good miter and some blades it could go beyond plug and play. -Jack
