Should be easy enough, right?
Most places seem to skip the #7 and go right from 6 to 8.
I need #7×3/4 inch from some place that won’t charge me $16 to ship a $3 box of screws.

Where do you get most of your hardware from? :)

Right now McFeelys is having a $1 shipping promo, so I ordered two boxes of 6×3/4 drawer hardware screws. They have 7s, but why so fussy?

The Blum hinges recommend #7 for attaching the face frame adapters to the face frames. I could probably use #6, but I actually HAVE some #7 … just not enough of them. :)

and I just placed an order at McFeely’s for 6×1/2 and 6×3/4 truss heads. I’m going to go have a look at those adapter plates and see if a #6 would work as well as a #7. I don’t think I have any #8 to try….

I’ve always used #6 screws for hinges with no problems.

Try Fastenal Just be sure that they don’t want to charge you shipping to your local store. I can’t figure them out; sometimes they charge me shipping, sometimes not.
