Thanks for all the great input!! Hardly ever do I see anything worth mentioning on craigslist re: planers…BUT last night I saw these. Help me out you planer peeps!!! What do you think of these models and prices? Should I be jumping on any of these offers?

Delta Planer TP305 for $210 (which of course I will try and negociate)

Delta 12” Planer, model 22-540. $125

Delta 12.5 ” planer…no model number….$125

Planer – Dewalt Model DW 733 comes with extra set of knives $225

Rockwell jointer $50

I sure do like my old and trusty 733. That feller had planed a BUNCH of wood over the years. I also like the fact that the knives can be sharpened.
Check out whether it has the dust chute and vac attachments. Mine came with ‘em.

I absolutely love my DW planer. I can’t speak for Delta because I’ve never had one but I would take a look at the DeWalt one. I know a lot of people here have DW planers in similar models and are generally quite happy.

+1 for the Dewalt planer, yeah buddy.
You might want to take a look see on that one Nancy, take some cash and good luck.
