Just curious about how many of us cruise the site during lunch hour or on break at work.

If you cruise at work – do you sign on and comment on the various forums or blogs? Or do you make a mental note to go back in the evening to make comments?

Just thought I’d throw this out there as some who wonder why they get only a few comments but lots of looks.

I know we can’t comment on every single thing we look at, I’m just curious as to your various habits.

I’m going to write a book about the various habits of Lumberjocks. We are a new species of human after all, someone has to chronicle our existence. (Not really :-) }

I look at the site while I’m at work. I work a split shift on Saturday night and I’m the only one left at night, so I comment some then, but my other 3 days I look, but normally dont have the time to sign in and comment.

If you write a book about MY habits, just make sure I’m anonymous. :-)

Yeah, write the book. I’ve never been in a book before … except that one of pictures that’s kept at the police station.

Oh, and I log in at work and comment if something strikes my fancy.

Sometime at the beginning of the day as I a wait for things to start up or f I am running a particularily long process I will log in and comment. I’ll often listen to Woodtalk online past podcasts if I am doing something repetitive and need to stay alert…some of my job is extremely picky repititive stuff so the podcasts help.

I vote you write the book… I’ll even help… do you want maps of the distribution of LJs :-)

It helps me get thru the day by looking at all of the things I could be making if I wasn’t stuck at work , then I remember that work is paying my mortgage for me as I am only a hobbiest woodworker ! L O L !!!! Now get back to work , my friends : ) Have a great day where ever you are : )

Dennis – you “only” mow yards. Hummpppp wish I had someone around me that only mowed yards. I could use someone as industrious as you are. Seems very few kids where I live want to mow lawns for extra money. Could be that they don’t want to be out in this stinking hot weather.

ya with this weather it is hard. especially the bigger ones. but doing carriages at Shaw’s won’t be much better. at least some of my friends work there. its funny all the elderly people whose lawn i mow give me more than i ask. i asked 10 for one guys and he gave me 20. its a pretty sweet gig along with shaws and woodworking I’m loaded this summer :)

Dennis – will you buy my gas???? I’m glad you are doing well this summer. It’s always nice to be “loaded” with dough instead of other things you could be loaded with. You seem to be a fine young man.

Seems like a lot of surfing does go on.
