I have a Central Machine 14 inch bs. My shop has 6 double tube fluorescent lights placed about every two foot. When I use my bs I need to have light focused on the blade at the cutting point. Pencil lines are hard to see and I seem to stray sometimes which is bad.
What I’m looking for is a clamp on light with adjustable neck roughly 8-12 inches long 110v A/C. All I seem to be able to find are LED lights that use batteries. I won’t buy one of those because I’m sure they aren’t bright enough.

If you know where to get one, please link it for me.

Thanks.

EDIT:
Thanks to Patron’s suggestion, I found one that will work at Lowes. I had to mount it on the BS but a few holes won’t really matter. It’s 24 LED’s and very bright. I may actually be able to follow a line now, lol.

Patron, I think I’ll go have a look. What I’d really like is on the has a nice bright light that isn’t more than one inch in diameter that will put a strong spot light right on the work.

patron, the light you posted, you said goose neck, is that meaning it is flexable, and will it stay in place once it is set.

The goose-neck isn’t very strong so I had to pop a couple more holes in the BS top cover and stuck the bread tie that held the power cord together through it and it keeps it perfect.

That is a nice light set up you found. I need one too and i am looking for a goose neck desk light at a garage sale. I will modify it to fit on the upper part of the band saw. I already have an outlet that comes on with the saw for the vacuum. That will also turn on the light I know what you mean about pencil lines being hard to see—-especially on walnut!..............Jim

Jim, I don’t even want to think about a line on walnut. I’d have to use a white pencil.
