I just bought a used Craftsman Professional Table saw Model 22124 but it doesn’t have a splitter. I tried Sears and Ereplacementparts.com but no luck. Does anyone know of a private person that may operate a table saw wrecking yard where I might find a splitter?. I’m trying to avoiding the cost of a Shark Guard Splitter. Here is the part Number of the splitter . PART NUMBER: OR91015
Substitution: 27510.00

Thanks, John

It’s not too hard to make your own. My brother cut this one for me:

The BORK riving knife will also fit your saw.

...I thought I had a Shark Guard prototype around here, but I can’t seem to find it at the moment. I’ll let you know if I find it.

Thanks Scott. I’m going out now to do something similar. I found a site that you can print the pattern for this type of splitter specific to my saw. Thanks again

John – I have the same saw, and I’m facing the same problem—it didn’t come with a guard / riving knife, and I’d like to work out some sort of solution.

Could you share the site with the pattern you found? (Or even better, share the pattern?)

Thanks!

Hey Rogan I know this thread is beyond dead but did you ever find a splitter? I just bought this saw for $180 (not a bad price, not great either) and the only thing that i am sad about is the splitter is missing.

I believe Lee at shark gaurd came out with a splitter and blade gaurd for the 22124 not too long ago, a little spendy but it may be an option, you could always send him an email to verify it will work for your saw. http://thesharkguard.com/ordercraftsman15222124ARK.html

Actually I found mine in with a couple extra saw blades so I’m pleased. If anyone needs a pattern I would gladly trace mine and email it.

Oldhess, I’d really appreciate a tracing / measurements of your splitter!

I have not found a replacement for mine, but i’ve also been pretty busy with a newborn, so the saw has taken a bit of a back seat.

Once I have time, I’m sure I can fabricate one given a trace / measurements.

Thanks!

Thanks on both counts, Oldhess!

My email address is creswick at gmail dot com (I’m not sure if writing it out like that actually helps prevent spam bots from finding email addresses anymore or not, but I’m hopeful… I haven’t been using the forum long enough to send private messages).

Hi Oldhess, I also need a template/tracing of the splitter. I just picked up the saw two days ago and can’t find parts anywhere. Do you mind sharing the splitter dimension? Thanks
