Wow! Makes me “yellow or gold” with envy Sharon. I think there may be an eleventh commandment: “Thou shalt not covet thy neighbors tools.” Oh well at least I have one of the tools (PM2000). -- On the eighth day God was back in His woodworking shop! Lenny, East Providence, RI |

I think I just wet my pants. You know, at only $175k and interest rates as low as they are, I’d be thinking about refinancing the house if I were you. :-) -- Charlie M. "Woodworking - patience = firewood" |

seriously someone shove my eyeballs back into my head. -- "there aren’t many hand tools as awe-inspiring as the #8 jointer. I mean, it just reeks of cast iron heft and hubris" - Smitty |

Wow! Somebody either had some big money, some big dreams, or both. That’s a nice looking shop. $175,000 – I don’t know. 1000 sq ft is not that much room for a commercial shop. www.woodshopforsale.weebly.com -- If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away. Henry David Thoreau |

Some uber rich guy probably bought all this on Monday, paid an electrician to set it all up for him on Tuesday, and then after making his first bird house on Wednesday, decided he wasn’t really interested in woodworking after all. Either that or he bought it all to set jr. up into business to keep him off the streets (after flunking out of some ivy league college), and jr. is now selling it all for party money. There are some obscenely rich people out there, for whom the likes of this shop would mean no more than a jelly donut. -- Pine is fine, but Oak's no joke! |

ACK I mean, sure, very droolable, BUT 175K?!? I’ll stick to my second hand finds, thanks… -- Beer, Beer, Thank God for Beer. It's my way of keeping my mind fresh and clear... |
