So, I’ve nominated my lovely wife for this award, over the last month she has surprised me with a 6” jointer (no idea on the brand it has no name plates) that is square and sharp, a window a/c unit because summer in south Texas is rough inside a metal building, and today a jet 1200 2hp dust collector complete with pipes, fittings, blast gates, and a remote… All from Craigslist, and all on her own. I may be a bit partial but she’s the best thing ever!

When I saw the title of the post, I wondered if there were going to be photos. But after reading about the way she’s taken care of you, who cares what she looks like? :-)

Mine bought me a Veritas medium shoulder plane. Its all about the subtle hints….and making them some stuff to show them that everyone wins. Just be sure not to spend too much time in the shop using those tools they bought you, otherwise it might not happen that often. Easier said then done…..

I definately need to start making some stuff for her, we could pretty much use every piece of furniture in a house, we have quite the collection of non matching furniture. also dennis she knows she is always welcome in the shop, right now she is helping me reorganize the tools to get the best use of the small space “We” have :) She’s an amazing woman.
