I’m in the process of replacing the knifes on my 6 1/8 jointer, the manual doesn’t give a tolerance for setting the knifes other then the fact the knifes have to be 1/16 above the cutter head. When setting jointer knifes what is an acceptable tolerance across the surface of one knife, and the variances between all three knifes. The dimensions I have them set to are as follows Knife 1 .0620 .0612 .0630 = .0010 2 .0618 .0610 .0630 = .0012 3 .0618 .0621 .0640 = .0022 High knife .0640 |
