Topic tags/keywords: free hook and loop drum sander velcro

I just finished building my drum sander and I used the hook and loop conversion kit from Grizzly. It worked out great for me. The description of the item is terrible but I can tell you that it comes with two long hook rolls with the sticky back and two 120 grit loop rolls. I only needed just half of one of the rolls for my 16” long x 4” diameter drum.

Grizzly Conversion Kit

I believe it’s originally sized for a 6” diameter drum but you can easily change the cut angle for any diameter drum.

I’m giving away just one complete roll of the hook side that goes on the drum with a sticky backing (as shown in the picture). It’s about 9 ft long and 5” wide. All I ask is $7 through Paypal to cover shipping and my time. First come first serve! :)

Edit: SOLD!!

I’ll take it. I have a sander that takes H&L and the stuff is
worn out on it. PM me your info and thanks.

Not sure why u dont keep it. The material u used to wrap yo ur drum does wear out in time and may need replaced depending upon frequwncy of usage.

It is also easy to damage these and prematurely wear it out if you run a piece through with too much pressure applied. I agree with Jerry, I would hang onto this for sure.

Thanks for your concerns guys. Since I only used half a roll, I actually have a spare in case I need to replace it. The other complete roll should come in handy for Loren and gives me one less thing to store in my shop!
