Has anyone worked with Mulberry and if so, how does it work, easy/hard on tools, etc. How does it finish out?

Thanks in advance.

I haven’t ever messed with mulberry but one of my friends has done some turnings with it here is a link to one of them, if you scroll down they talk about the woods properties a little bit. Sorry I am not much help.

It is a beautiful wood. Easy to work with (and smells great too). Cuts and finished very smooth. I would never stain it, it darkens on its own like cherry.

Terrific! I used to live in Mulberry, In. and was thinking I’d like to make a box from Mulberry as a fun thing.
