I was just looking on google for bandsaws and I seen that one store had the grizzly g0555 for 406 dollars so I clicked it and sure enough they were selling it for 406 dollars, then I seen the grizzly 0555x which is 799 plus 100 shipping at grizzly for 556 plus 7 dollars shipping. Something doesn’t seem right. I just bought the grizzly 0555lx which I’m happy with but I paid the same price that this place is apparantely selling the next model up. Does anyone know anything about this place? It almost seems too good to be true and i definitely learned when it seems too good to be true it usually is

Something just doesn’t smell right to me but I hope I’m wrong. Go to their website and click on the “Industrial” prompt, it appears that they sell almost everything under the sun. Unless they are one of the largest companies in the country I just don’t see how they can be affiliated with that many major manufacturers.

As they usually say, “If it’s too good to be true…”

The site has no direct contact information besides email and says there are no returns on damaged goods (they’ll blame it on the shipper) and full refunds are only awarded to those who return within 5 days of receiving.

There is a $5 charge for using a credit card.

I know their contact is in Arizona but they appear to be set up through a proxy service of some sort.

I wouldn’t trust them at all unless I used something totally anonymous for paying (something under 10 bucks) and the order came in. That’s not to say they won’t get you the next time. It seems they have items that are supposed to be $200-300 listed for under $10. The best case for them is that you order and they capture a lot of your information. They could then cancel your order and use your info for identity theft or other random purchases.

There are groups that do nothing but act as a seller, use your information to purchase a similarly priced item that they want elsewhere (maybe guns or other merchandise), and then wait for you to cancel your order due to waiting too long. They get the item they want using your info and the credit card company takes the hit and you are inconvenienced.

My advice… stay away until there is more information on them (I did a quick search and most people are asking the same, “Are they legit?” question here).

I’m on the Internet everyday as a salesman for my day job. This one smells like three day old fish. This outfit has no address, no phone numbers, no way to contact them save for one submission page which is embedded in the website. They don’t show up on Sales Force.com, no D&B, BBB, nothing. Not even a hit when I type in “autocarsuperstore scam” on Google. In other words, no email address or any hard place they actually exist. Their privacy policy claims a copyright of 2009, but the bottom of the website pages claim a copyright of 2012. It looks fake, no place to really contact them, and in reality it looks like a scam that was rehashed since their dates don’t match. On the “contact us” page, there is a submit button. Often, when you right click that you get a properties info. This one shows up as simply an icon with no destination. No thanks for me…
