Has anyone used the WS3000 with the Tormek SVD-185 Gouge sharpening jig? I am looking to add on the jig and was wondering how well it works for turning tools. Given the different gemoetry, are there any suggestions on how to adapt Tormek settings for the WS?

Roody,
I have a Rockler gift card that I am planning on spending for the WS300 Tool Bar Attachment and the Tormek SVD185. I can’t seem to sharpen my gouges for the life of me, so I figured this was the way to go. you can watch the video of it in action here:

It’s a bit pricery, but I believe it will pay for itself in no time.
Note- the tool bar allows the use of most of the Tormek jigs.

LJ Stumpynubs made a nice worksharp station that has the abiilty to use the tormek jigs with it … i plan on building one but just havent gotten that far down the list yet.
