Two new woodworking items I tried to use for the first time today really let me down, I feel like i threw the money in the toilet.

The first was a MicroJig pro splitter system, the plastic over the metal on the splitters was full of stress cracks from the minute I tool it out of the box, the drill bit was oversized and so the holes it drilled in my ZCI were too loose, there will be a review put up. The part Im most upset about was wasting two hours of a beautiful saturday morning installing it.

The second was a baby bot glue bottle, I filled it with glue, screwed the nozzle on and the cap that holds the nozzle came right apart from the threaded part of the bottle bottoming out, I didnt even tighten it hard.

that’s wut i hate about buying stuff sight unseen over the internet. i had been thinking about getting those splitters cuz i really would like a splitter on my saw. but i am glad i saw this before i spent the money. if anyone knows a good splitter ad-on option i’m all ears. i actually bought some good glue bottles that work but i don’t even use them, plus they r hard to keep clean. thanks for sharing and good luck on our next purchases.

I’m sorry about that, Pat. That sort of thing happens to all of us from time to time. Well at least the whole day wasn’t ruined and maybe you can get your money back.
