Why are people trying to stump for a politician on a woodworking site.
I can tell you with confidence that I’ve never seen anyone change their mind about who they like politically because of a blog entry.
Why try?
We all seem to get along so well when we keep it to woodworking. I’ve been helped and I’ve helped. I don’t really care to know the politics of people here, it might color my thoughts about them.

You might want to consider this if you have a political post in mind. You just might pi$$ off someone who you need advise from someday.

I only say this because people are getting into fights over it and blocking each other.

I try to avoid political and religious topics for fear of offending someone and being blocked even if I agree with some of what they say. Then again the block button is just an abuse button in my opinion to have the last say.

Alaska guy, LOL, but so true. Some people need to argue, I need to argue from time to time also, and voice my opinion. I get involved every now an d then on many forums & blogs, never political ones, since no matter what side you take you end up losing in the end, like our choices, LMAO.

I for one am happy to chew the fat with anyone on here, on any topic, except politics. I have no problem making enemies so why go look for it.

personally i wish we could just keep our conversations more towards wood working or the crafts, this other talks folks get into about politics and religion just end up with folks getting mad and blocking, and more posts about why they got blocked and it seems to roll on forever…i have no use for any of it…...so im going to stay with posting my projects, looking at others projects and make comments and once in awhile try to make a few buddies laugh…..so that’s my feelings on it all…...why cant we all just get along and be happy, i know the reason why, but if i told you, most would just get pretty mad….....so see ya folks, grizz

Yeah, the other day I posted a picture of my most recent woodworking project on a political-argument forum. Those people have no sense of humor.

Good point Russell.

Sharing information about bills, laws, and other current events is one thing, but to have people launching missiles at each other….... doesnt accomplish anything.

Have your say...
