My wife’s (store bought) wooden spatula split today. Can this be glued with regular Titebond II or does it require special adhesive being that it is a food utensile?

Assuming that the pieces fit back together well, it should glue up just fine. I would probably use Titebond III – it’s better in moist conditions.

No as far as I know any good waterproof wood glue should do try gorilla glue if you are worried. Alistair

I wouldn’t waste my time trying to glue it. I’d just go to the shop and make her an new one and say”Happy Mother’s Day”
