I was in Italy this week touring the Irwin Marples saw blade factory in the run up to the release of their new blade line.

I put together a video of the process so you can see how blades are made.

-- Martin ....always count the number of fingers you have before, and after using the saw.

Pretty cool. That new line of Irwin blades looks to be step up from their Marathon and Sprint series. A few years ago they offered a very good “Woodworking” series made by Leitz in Germany, but discontinued it. Nice to see them offering some decent Italian made blades now.
