Topic tags/keywords: bed logs round resource question

does anyone on this site have any ideas where i could purchase round smooth logs to make beds like the one in the photo

-- if i say something stupid over look me im learning.....

I don’t know where you are located, but you could try a forest near you! Just kidding. :D

If you scroll down to “sawmill specialties” at http://www.woodfinder.com/ you will see a check box for logs. Enter your zip code at the top and click in the search bar on the right side.

Check with the log home suppliers / builders. example Tindells in East Tn. caters to log home builders

If you get some wood that still has bark on it (which would probably be the cheaper route), get yourself a drawknife and you can get the bark off pretty quick.
