I’m working on cabinet with inset doors. I’m using soss hinges and there are not going to be handles. I need door catches that are touch open. I want them to have mechanical, as in a ball catch of some sort, not purely magnetic. Does anyone know where to get some or have any ideas of what to use? Whatever they are they have to work flawlessly and price is absolutely no concern.

Louis and co. has a pretty nice asst. Just curious, what led you to using soss hinges ? T hey are good hinges, I ve just found them to be too labor intensive.

I needed a hinge that was clean looking and concealed. I also didn’t have case sides close to the opening to attach standard hinges to. You are right, they are labor intensive. I made a self centering window jig to make the mortises consistent and quick. They fit so good that I had to use wax to make them slide in easier.
