Old backsaw with slightly bent blade?

I came across an old Atkins backsaw, about 15” long, at an antique mall. Overall, the saw looks good except that the plate is very slightly bent: I’d say the middle part is offset about 1/16” from a straight line between the ends. Is it possible to correct a slightly bent plate like this one?

I have a 14” backsaw that had a bend in the middle of about 3/16”. The back was straight. George Wilson’s way referenced above fixed it.
