Topic tags/keywords: question

I am considering buying a Grizzly 10”/3HP table saw.
I was also considering buying an Harvey table saw, which makes Grizzly but they are more expensive)
On their website they have a bunch of them, all looking identical and with about the same price.
Can someone tell me the differences between each model?
Thanks.
Bert

I have the griz 1023 just bought in the past couple months, I love it. I had a bad kickback incident, scared my face and put a hole in my check. The main reason for the upgrade was the riving knife on this unit. Moves up and down. I leave it in all the time. Would never look back. I know its only a precaution but it makes a big difference. Also in the 1023 the trunnions are huge, no vibration and quiet. The are aided going up and down with a hydralic piston like in a door with really helps manuver the weight up and down. also another benifit is the trunnion is on a dovetail slide so measuring in the middle of the blade is the top of the cut height no movement like in the older pendulum swing style. hope this helps.

I am seriously considering buying one of them but something in me refuses to pay the huge shipping fees.

It is well worth it, figure in gas and other expenses of picking up locally, plus you are in utah mo sales tax, just 150 shipping i think. I had to pay the tax. plus customer service is great, never had issues with them, i call them just to ask questions sometimes, have them on speed dial, parts id ever needed are very resonalble. Give them a call tell them your doubts and they will explain the pros and cons they know their machines. the 1023 is their conerstone table saw, they use them in ther muncy pa crate shop for shipping the tools.
