Hello just wanted to take the time to introduce myself, i am a new member and just getting started in the craft of woodworking. my shop consists of a Steel force hybrid contractors saw that was recently purchased and a dust collector that was purchased today. i do have a shop Smith that was handed down to me from my grandfather. ill be posting from time to time for advice.

thanks for the welcome, some more background. woodworking seems to be a family trait. my father has a great woodshop and until recently i found no interest in woodworking. 2 yr ago i decided i wanted to build something with my dad so we make a cherry and maple queen sized bed and i have made a jewelery box for my wife…. i believe i will spend much of the yr. putting together my shop and building jigs and accessories i might need for bigger projects. my first two projects now are a workbench that is portable and space saving along with a router table!
